Here are some of our Havanese Breeding stock so you may see how beautiful they are.  Most have had their eyes Certified by an opthimologist in Canine eye foundation. All are regularly checked for other health problems including patella joints in legs.  We are striving to use smaller breeding stock as we prefer the smaller size Havanese, 11 pounds and under.  The common sizes for Havanese are: females from 10-13 pounds, males from 12 to 15 pounds.  Havanese dogs are considered hypo-allergenic and non-shedding, but you do need to brush and comb them at least 3 times a week if you are planning on keeping them in full long coat.  Otherwise for a pet, many  owners have them trimmed in a "puppy-cut"  two or three times a year.
